Come and have a go!

The day will be perfect for families and for lovers of history and archaeology, with activities for all:

A Tudor doctor (a quack) with his basket of cures

Meet the quack!

Have a go at butter making, writing with a quill, rush-light making, and dressing up as a Tudor farmer. You can even become part of an oxen plough team and meet the Tudor quack! There will also be Tudor pottage to taste and a cellar full of treasure to discover.

And that’s not all…

Come along and meet the archaeologists and volunteers behind the project, and find out about the forthcoming graveyard survey, and how you could become involved with it.

And its all free!

Just turn up at the Dove Valley Centre, Under Whitle Farm, Sheen, Nr Longnor, SK17 OPR any time between 11am and 4pm.

We look forward to seeing you there!
