The Dove Valley Centre
As well as being the location of our project, the centre hosts a number of events throughout the year, from apple bobbing to Tudor farming as well as providing holiday accommodation.

The Heritage Lottery Fund
You are no doubt aware that the Heritage Lottery Fund gives grants to sustain and transform our heritage in the UK and it is thanks to them that our project went ahead. Find out what else they fund.

The Peak District National Park
The PDNPA Sustainable Development Fund helped to support our project but this fund is now closed.  However, you can find out more about the UK’s first ever National Park.

An organisation that is dedicated to ‘Archaeology for All’.

Mick Aston Archaeology Fund
A fund set up in memory of Mick Aston, the archaeologist, academic and original member of Time Team, supported by English Heritage and Cadw. This fund helped to support our project.

English Heritage
English Heritage cares for over 400 historic buildings, monuments and sites as well as supporting funds, such as the Mick Aston Archaeology Fund.

Enrichment Through Archaeology
As well as being our project manager, Catherine spends her time developing and delivering archaeology workshops to schools around the country. Find out more about what she does.

A local long-term project that is looking into the environs of what is arguably the Peak District’s most famous archaeological monument.
