WILLS AND INVENTORIES

Included here are a number of wills from the 16th to late 17th century. It is interesting to explore them and see how the bequeath their estate to to family and friends. And because we are also interested in the material culture (archaeology) of the period, these documents also paint a picture of the type of things people owned and used.
